David Marino returns to Midland/Odessa from KVOA-TV in Tucson, AZ.  During his four years in Tucson, David reported on a variety of subjects, including border issues, wildfires, wicked weather, and a visit from Former President George W. Bush. 

David was also recognized by the Arizona Associated Press for his breaking news reporting.  David is no stranger to the Permian Basin.  He was a reporter for NewsWest 9 from 2003 to 2005.  During that time he won several awards from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters for his reporting.

You can catch David anchoring NewsWest 9 at Five, and co-anchoring NewsWest 9 at Six and Ten.  David is a native of San Antonio and is happy to be back in his home State of Texas.  He's a graduate of Angelo State University.
