HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - Upwards of 11 million dollars are headed to New Mexico, and one Lea County town is getting a chunk of that change to spruce up city transportation.
The City of Hobbs is set to get $900,000 to buy a site and start work on a new city transit facility.
That building will reportedly house a place for bus maintenance, covered bus storage bays and outside parking, as well as driver break rooms.
The money's coming from a U.S. House of Representatives spending bill.
