MIDLAND – Two Midland women are accused of stealing thousands from Western Union Customers over the last few months.

Investigators with the White Collar Division say 26-year-old Linda Jaime and 29-year-old Sylvia Lopez committed Western Union money transfer fraud to the tune of more than $33,000.

We're told it has been going on since august where the two Pronto Check Cashing employees would pick customers waiting on money transfers at random from cities all over Texas and New Mexico and use their identities to take the money.
When the customers came to get the cash, it was already gone.

Once the fraud and the arrest warrants were issued, Western Union reimbursed the victims.
