Eunice Looking to Build New Water Treatment Plant

EUNICE, N.M. - It's getting close to being full and now the city of Eunice is making preparations to add a new waste water treatment plant.

The current facility is about 60 years old. City officials say the state never issued a permit when it first began operating.

The new facility will bring them up to compliance and double the capacity. The Eunice city manager says the new $4.4 million project will sit directly north of the current plant.
