The roads have already turned treacherous, just in time for holiday travel.
A mother and daughter from San Angelo were headed west on Highway 158, just east of Garden City on Wednesday afternoon, when they had a blowout.
That sent the SUV into a side skid off the road, into a bar ditch, where it hit a pole.
The passenger, Clydia Prosise was taken to Odessa.
