MIDLAND – West Texans will have to hold off on making plans to see a rare exhibit.
That's because Midland College is postponing hosting a traveling museum exhibit dedicated to the late Pope John Paul, II.
Midland College officials tell NewsWest 9 that contract negotiations between the New York Company in charge and the Lubbock-based National Exhibit Association have not been worked out yet.
The exhibit was supposed to start next month.
Midland officials hope to have it by the summer.
The mission of the exhibit is to preserve the legacy of one of the most influential world leaders.
