GREENWOOD - A weekend rash of robberies ends after the suspected crook turned himself into police.

59-year-old Jimmie Dean Hogue gave himself up on Monday morning.

The Midland County Sheriff's Office says Hogue is the man who ripped off the Uncle's Convenience Store in Greenwood at knifepoint on Friday afternoon.

That was only the beginning of the rash of robberies.

Midland Police say Hogue then stole a car.

Then on Sunday, we're told he robbed a 7-11 on west Wadley.

He's already been charged with the Uncle's robbery.

Charges in the other cases are pending.
