MIDLAND - A trio of would-be robbers could find out their fates this week.

19-year-old Christopher Simmons, 20-year-old Joshua Bell and 19-year-old Preston Savell are scheduled to be sentenced in Midland Federal Court on Tuesday.

The three already plead guilty to attempted bank robbery, conspiracy to commit bank robbery, and use of a firearm during a crime of violence.

Back in June, they tried to rob an armored car outside the Western National Bank on Grandview in Odessa.

During that attempted heist, they shot the armored car guard four times.

They could all face life in prison.
