MIDLAND - A District fair is pushing students and their families to be more well rounded.
Dozens of families gathered together in Midland for the School District's First Annual Family Fair.
The goal of the fair is to introduce district families to available programs, student groups and local organizations.
The event also offered free entertainment provided by student groups.
“It's just to try to connect families and let them know that we care about the entire student and not just academics. We want their social emotional health and everything taken care of. So this is a way to connect partners with all of the opportunities that are in the city,” Parent Engagement Coordinator, Dolores Cano, said.
Free immunizations were also available for interested students.
