MIDLAND - A Midland judge has a new case to tackle, but for folks here in the Basin, it means one less child predator roaming the streets.
A federal judge sentenced Kenneth Daniel Spriggs to 30 months in prison, then he'll have 20 years of supervised release.
Spriggs has a long record of sex crimes.
Midland Police even contacted the U.S. Marshals - who opened an investigation to determine if Spriggs had crossed state lines, which is a federal offense.
Officials picked him up this summer in Wichita, Kansas.
Now, he's back in the Basin to face more federal charges.
