MIDLAND - A disappointing ruling for the Commemorative Air Force.

The U.S. Court of Appeals ruled against the Commemorative Air Force in its plea to be deemed the rightful owners of the P-82 Twin Mustang.

Back in July, the District Court ruled the P-82 belonged to the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

The C.A.F. argued it had dozens of documents proving it was the owner, including a donation certificate from the United States Air Force to the C.A.F. more than 40 years ago.
