MARFA - After several tries, Marfa and Presidio County have found a way to pay for city patrols.
On Monday night, County Commissioners approved the agreement.
They'll provide two Deputies to patrol the City of Marfa for $87,000 per year.
The City Council also agreed to loan them a car and pay to maintain it.
The contract is retroactive to October first.
That's when the city's new budget that dissolved the Marfa Police Department took effect.
