Midland Police Investigating Two Separate Armed Robberies

MIDLAND - A couple is behind bars in Midland busted for robbing a store at gunpoint.

Police say they nabbed the pair less than two hours after the robbery.

We're told it all started around 5:30 when a Hispanic man and Hispanic woman walked into a Western Decor Store on Midland Drive.

They allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded the cash from the register.

They made off with the money, but police were able to get a description of their car.

Then around eight on Friday night, officers found the pair parked across town.

They're now behind bars charged with aggravated robbery.     

Police are still investigating whether these two are connected to another armed robbery on Friday night.

A Sally Beauty Supply on the south side of Midland was robbed at about 6:30 on Friday night.
