Hobbs Police Doubling Their Personnel on Halloween Night

HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - Trick-or-Treators won't be the only ones hitting the streets in Hobbs this Halloween.

Police officers are doubling their force and patrolling the neighborhoods.

Hobbs Police tell NewsWest 9, they get an unbelievable amount of calls on Halloween night.

Typically they send out seven officers at night, but on Saturday, there will be fourteen.

Officers say they get everything from children being lured away by stranger to stolen candy reports.
