New Details Released in Connection with a Midland Shooting

MIDLAND - NewsWest 9 has learned new details on a gunman who shot the manager of a detail shop this past Tuesday at the Yorkman's Detail shop on West Illinois and who police are looking for.   

Midland Police say a hispanic male walked into the detail shop from the north alley with a red bandana wrapped around his right hand concealing a handgun.

The man then shot 26-year-old Robert Yorkman in the back after chasing him out the front door of the business.

The description of the shooter is becoming clearer - police are looking for a Hispanic male with a light complexion he's about six-feet tall and 190 pounds.

NewsWest 9 learned he has acne scars on his face, a tear-drop tattoo under one eye and a tattoo of horns on the top of his right hand. His shoulders and arms are also covered in tattoos. 

Midland Police are urging anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 694-TIPS.
