Hobbs Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint

HOBBS N.M. - Hobbs Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store.

It happened Tuesday night around 11:15 at the Allsups at 1100 East Sanger. Officers say a man wearing a black ski mask entered the store, showed the clerk a gun and demanded money. The man then fled the store.

Officers conducted an extensive search of the area and were unable to locate the suspect. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a light blue sweat shirt, dark pants and a black ski mask.  He was described as about 5 feet tall possibly close to 30 years old.
