HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - Hobbs Police are sending out a warning.

Watch out for a group of traveling workers, they say are ripping off unsuspecting people who think they are paying someone to help them out with some yard work.

We're told the group is going around in a white truck, pulling a large black trailer, offering to do yard work and trim trees.

Police say they get paid up front and don't finish the job.

You should never pay up front for services of any kind, especially if you don't know them.

If you come across them or have been scammed by them, call Hobbs Police at 575-397-9265.
