TXDOT has pulled the plug the Trans Texas Corridor Project.

The unpopular project is being terminated but it has already cost the state millions in studies, public meetings, and drawing up plans.

Department of Transportation Officials say the 175-billion dollar proposal to build a network of toll roads and rail lines across the state has had road blocks since its inception seven years ago.
