Alon Refinery Fined $230,000 for OSHA Safety Violations

BIG SPRING - The Big Spring Alon Refinery is going to have to cough up more than $200,000 after OSHA fines them for several safety violations.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) says they found dozens of violations ranging from serious, repeat, and less than serious violations in their April inspection.

The company has 15 business days to pay up, or contest the citations and the proposed penalties.
