ODESSA - An Odessa man wanted in New Mexico for attacking his girlfriend has turned himself in to Ector County authorities.
19-year-old Ralph Lira allegedly held his girlfriend and her baby against their will for two hours last Sunday morning. His girlfriend told police in Dona Ana County, New Mexico that Lira strangled her as well.
Lira turned himself in Thursday afternoon around 2:30 to the Ector County Sheriff's Office. He is currently being held for a probation violation.
