City of Hobbs Receives Grant for Crime Prevention Programs

HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - The City of Hobbs has been handed some cash to jump start some crime-prevention programs around town.

The Department of Justice is sending the city more than $55,000 to help officials get a handle on crime and also help victims of crime.

In all, towns across New Mexico are getting about 3.5 million dollars to combat crime.
