Sul Ross University officially has a new University President.
On Thursday, Dr. Ricardo Maestas was unanimously confirmed by the Board of Regents of the Texas State University System.
Maestas will be the 11th President at Sul Ross University.
Maestas fills the position after Dr. R. Vic Morgan retired on August 31st after serving as Sul Ross' University President for 19 years.
