Odessa Man Sentenced After Setting Oil Storage Buildings on Fire

ODESSA - An act of revenge sends an Odessa man to prison for nearly four years.

28-year-old Steven Wayne Jones pleaded guilty back in May to setting six crude oil storage buildings on fire.

The facilities were owned by Plains Marketing Company.

Jones had just been fired by Plains the day before he set the fires.

He is set to report to prison next month.

Jones has also been ordered to pay nearly two-million-dollars for the property damage done by the fires.
