FORSAN - Early voting started on Monday for Forsan voters.
Voters get to decide how to give back almost one million dollars to the state.
An increase in wind turbine production has upped the property values and according to the Texas Education Code, the Forsan Independent School District is now, a "property rich district."
Because of the Robin Hood Law, they have to share the wealth.
Voters' options are to give the cash directly back to the state or they can invest it in educational programs for other schools in their region.
If both options fail, a third permanent option would cut part of the district out and give to another, less wealthy one.
