Deer season is just around the corner and a local food bank needs your help, especially if you're a hunter.

Starting October 9th, the West Texas Food Bank will be accepting any of your deer meat you don't want.

Kraft foods pitched in $45,000 to help process the meat and feed needy citizens in the Permian Basin.

You can drop off your deer meat in Alpine, Sanderson, Fort Stockton, and Midland, and the Food Bank will take care of the rest.
