MIDLAND - The July numbers are in and Midland didn't ring up as many sales tax dollars as they planned.

The city got a check for about 1.6 million dollars, which is down more than 28% from last year.

The year-to-date total is up though by about .06%.

That puts the Tall City up about $114,000 from this time last year.
