MARFA - New details on a high speed chase during a bizarre turn of events in Marfa.

Presidio Police have released the name of that suspect who's recovering in an Odessa Hospital.

Christopher Michael Cobos is currently at Medical Center Hospital.

Police say he jumped in his truck and took off when officers showed up to a domestic dispute call on Monday.

He tried to lose the cops by driving out into a pasture, and attempted to beat a train.

Instead, he hit that train, went airborne, and finally came to a stop.

The paramedics had to ask for back-up, because Cobos was allegedly fighting in the back of the ambulance.

Then on Tuesday morning, as authorities were preparing to book him, Cobos jumped out of the third story window at the Justice of the Peace Office.

He was airlifted to Medical Center Hospital where he underwent surgery.

No word on his condition or what charges he'll face when he's released.
