PRESIDIO COUNTY - An Odessa girl was killed in an accident in Presidio County Monday night.
DPS says the accident happened 18 miles South of Marfa on U.S. Highway 67. The driver was making a curve, drifted onto the shoulder, overcorrected,and went into a side-skid, hitting a tree.
A 10-year-old girl was pronounced dead on the scene. A 13-year-old girl was ejected from the car and airlifted to the hospital in Odessa where she's in critical condition.
Two adults in the car were not injured. D.P.S. is still investigating.
