LOVINGTON, NEW MEXICO - Drivers in Lovington can expect delays in the downtown area for the next four months.

The City is bringing that one mile stretch of street into compliance with the Americans with Disabilites Act.

Sidewalks along Main Street will be widened to make them more accessible to wheelchairs.

The project will cost about $350,000.

Anyone driving through that area can expect one lane to be closed and delays between seven in the morning and five in the evening Monday through Friday.
