ODESSA - Ector County ISD and MALDEF will be back in court this January over a long-standing desegregation case.
We're told lawyers for the District and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund met to talk about the case this week.
The case stems from a 2006 consent agreement where the district agreed to treat all of its minority students fairly.
And district officials say the judge is calling for both sides to draft their concerns and come to an agreement.
