MIDLAND - Kay Bailey Hutchison is rallying support for her run at the governor's office in 2010.
The long-time U.S. Senator made Midland one of her stops in a 19 city, five day tour to announce her intention to oppose current Governor Rick Perry in the Republican Primary.
Friday afternoon's rally at Compressor Systems just off F.M. 1788 was a chance for supporters to hear from the senior senator.
Hutchison has been mulling over a gubernatorial run for the past several months and officially announced her candidacy in LaMarque on Monday.
