BIG SPRING - Big Spring has settled a lawsuit filed against the city for not being in compliance with federal disability laws.

A group sued the city last year and had to close some buildings because they were not accessible to disabled residents.

Mayor Russ McEwen says the city will pay some of the attorney's fees, but no damages under the agreement.

The city is currently working to get all of its public buildings in compliance.
