Law Enforcement Academy Begins on Monday for 24 West Texas Recruits

The road to earning a badge begins on Monday for a couple dozen West Texans.

24 recruits get started at the Permian Basin Regional Law enforcement academy, bright and early Monday morning.

Twelve of those are looking to join the ranks at the Midland Police Department.

The others are headed for Big Spring, Lamesa, Dawson, Howard and Ector Counties.

Graduation is in December.
