PERMIAN BASIN - Drug Enforcement Agency officials make a big bust after a multi-month investigation in the Permian Basin.

13 people were indicted by a federal grand jury back on July 21st, 2009.

Distribution of methadone is punishable by a prison term of up to 20 years behind bars and a fine of up to 1 million dollars, and distribution of hydrocodone is punishable by a prison term of up to 5 years behind bars and a $250,000 fine.

All defendants are set for trial in October.
