BIG SPRING - Big Spring Police are very busy after a weekend stabbing and shooting.

We're told the two cases are not related.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning in the 1400 block of Tucson.

Police tell NewsWest 9, they found a man and woman there with gunshot wounds from a drive-by shooting.

Both were treated for their wounds at the hospital.

Investigators say the wounded man would not cooperate, but they believe he was involved in a fight earlier that evening.

We're told at least five shots were fired from the vehicle, no arrests have been made.

On Saturday night, officers were called out to the same street to respond to report of a fight.

The fight was over by the time police showed up on Tucson, but the officers followed a line of cars headed to the emergency room.

We're told that's where police found a 24-year-old man with three stab wounds in the ribs.
He's expected to be okay.

Investigators say they have some leads, but so far they haven't made an arrest.
