WEST TEXAS - Some West Texas workers will find some extra cash in their next paycheck.

The minimum wage has officially gone up 70 cents an hour to $7.25.

While it means more spending power for those employees, their bosses are worried.

Some small mom and pop shops don't think they can absorb that type of wage increase, and that means they'll be forced to raise their prices.
