Heavy Rains Bring Flooding to Parts of Area

Heavy rains brought some isolated flooding to West Texas and Southeast New Mexico Wednesday.

Flash Flood Warnings were issued for Ector, Midland and Martin Counties. Those warnings were allowed to expire at 3:00 p.m.

Flooding was also reported in parts of Southeast New Mexico including Hobbs, Carlsbad and Artesia.

Streets in Odessa were flooded when the storms moved through around 11:00 a.m. North Dixie was one of the streets that was turned into a river, but the waters receded quickly.
