Suspect Involved in Big Spring Shooting Acquitted on All Charges

BIG SPRING - One man is acquitted for his role in a shooting last year in Big Spring, another is still waiting for his day in court.

43-year-old Roland Garcia escaped aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.

Garcia and his stepson, 19-year-old Tony Martinez, were accused of opening fire on Antonio Flores in front a detail shop last may.

Flores was hit several times, but managed to recover.

No word on when Martinez will go to trial.
