WARD COUNTY - Another high-profile case involving two former administrators at the West Texas State School in Pyote will be getting underway later this week.
There have been two years of delays, but now, John Paul Hernandez and Ray Brookins will head to court.
The Odessa judge appointed to take over the case says the pair will go to court in ward county this Thursday.
Brookins and Hernandez were indicted in 2007 on charges of sexually abusing teenage inmates.
The case had stalled ever since the indictments.
Brookins and Hernandez have both denied wrongdoing and have pleaded not guilty.
The case has gained nationwide attention and has sparked numerous changes within the juvenile court system.
