ODESSA - Members of the Odessa Humane Society hope donations from some shoppers on Saturday will put them one step closer to upgrading their camera equipment.
On Saturday, shoppers at the Sam's Club in Odessa donating some spare change to the help the local organization.
The Humane Society says for the past three weeks pet owners have been pitching unwanted puppies over the fence.
The director tells NewsWest 9, one of the pets was a pregnant dog.
Volunteers say they hope to raise enough money to buy some infra-red camera's to help stop the problem.
The Humane Society thinks the high number of un-neutered or un-spayed pups around this area is behind the problem.
They're goal is to raise $3,500 dollars.
