PRESIDIO - The Presidio County Commissioner's Court is meeting to consider an audit of the Sheriff's Office.
This all comes on the heels of the county jail closing down several weeks ago.
The agenda says they'll look for misuse of funds and how the reports were made.
NewsWest 9 spoke with Sheriff Dominguez on Friday and he tells us, he welcomes the investigation.
The jail shut its doors after the parent company pulled out of the deal.
The County didn't have enough cash to keep it open, now the prisoners are in nearby counties.
Presidio County officials say they just want to find a way to re-open the facility.
