ODESSA - A new and unique hair salon for men in Odessa is catching the eye of area oil field workers.

The Well Head Salon on east Eighth Street is co-owned by an oil field inspector who wanted men to feel right at home with a few extra perks.

For $15.00 dollars, you also get a free beer, along with a free neck and shoulder massage from your stylist.

Ralph Walker says it was time for something new in town that is a cut above the rest.

"We wanted something that's new to the Permian Basin that catered to men and I think we accomplished it here.  I hope we can keep the customers happy and keep them coming back.  And they love it.  They love the atmosphere, they love the free drinks and the neck and shoulder massages and we have some of the best stylists in Odessa," Walker said.

Baker also has dozens of collectible oilfield signs to complete the oilfield theme.

There are also pool tables, video games, and dart boards to play on while you wait for your haircut, beer, and massage.

They're open Monday through Saturday from 10a.m. to 7p.m.
