MIDLAND - A Midland company is taking off with a new business venture and they'll need some good workers as business increases.
Trace Engines bought a Tulsa company, called ''TowBot.''
It's a small electric and remote controlled device that tows airplanes.
The deal will help expand and diversify trace as the company seeks new and profitable markets.
Officials say they'll need to buy parts from area vendors and hire assembly workers.
"We already did bring down some folks from Tulsa and then we're going to be adding folks as we feel necessary. As the sale volume increases, we'll have to add more folks from the Midland area to do assembly," David Czarnecki with Trace Engines, said.
The company plans to show off their new ''TowBot'' in Reno, Nevada this month and also at the Midland Air Show in October.
