Lamesa Cuts Ribbon on New Waste Water Treatment Plant

Lamesa - Lamesa officials cut the ribbon on a new state-of-the are water treatment plant today.

The plant can treat two-million gallons of wastewater each day. An extended aeration process removes pollutants to clean the water.

The clean waste-water is then discharged into Sulphur Springs Draw. It is also being used to irrigate local parks and ball fields.
