ANDREWS - Despite some disagreements and advice not to do it, a couple of Andrews residents stuck around Lakeside Park on Saturday to pass out information protesting a recent election involving Waste Control Specialists.

Right along with the games, fun and food, was Melodie and Peggy Pryor with the group "No Bonds for Billionaires."

Earlier this week, members of the Andrews Chamber of Commerce had asked the pair not to bring political information that would be critical of another group or business.

The Pryors tell NewsWest 9 told were asked to leave, but chamber officials say that never happened and they made sure the Pryors had all the information they needed to assist visitors to the park.

Members of the Chamber of Commerce say the celebrations at Lakeside Park went well.
