FORT STOCKTON - Fort Stockton High School students may be staying put for lunch next year.

The Fort Stockton Pioneer reports that the district is looking at closing the campus during the lunch hour.

District officials say a small number of students are having problems with tardiness and truancy, but they still want to explore the idea.

The high school's cafeteria would likely have to be modified to handle the entire student body.
