One woman is sitting behind bars in Midland for beating a three-year old little boy with a belt. 24-year old Daisy Aranda was arrested at her home on east Peck on Tuesday.

MIDLAND - One woman is sitting behind bars in Midland for beating a three-year old little boy with a belt.

24-year old Daisy Aranda was arrested at her home on east Peck on Tuesday.

Officers and Child Protective Services showed up after receiving a tip.

We're told the boy has been removed from the home.

Aranda has been charged with injury to a child.
