MIDLAND - The first of four new engines for the B-29 Superfortress "FiFi" is hanging at the Commemorative Air Force.

B-29 and B-24 squadron members worked through the weekend to get that first engine up.

It's been a long process, the engine arrived in Midland in April and the squadron spent all of May preparing for the installation.

Now, they'll get to work on the other three engines.

Officials say getting the engine on the plane is a good sign that "FiFi" will be flying again next year.
