MIDLAND - Two more former Reeves County Detention Center employees admit they took bribes to sneaking contraband into the prison.
41-year-old Velam Jean Payan and 41-year-old Jerri Dean Ornelas made their pleas in Midland Federal Court.
Payan said she took $2,000 to smuggle in what she said was tobacco, some or all of it may have been marijuana.
Ornelas admitted to taking $450.00 to smuggle in tobacco.
Each could get 15 years in prison when they are sentenced in the fall.
