MIDLAND - Bond has been denied to the three suspects accused of trying to rob an armored car outside an Odessa bank last week.
On Friday, the suspects in the robbery were in court for a detention hearing.
The Federal Magistrate said Joshua Bell, Chris Simmons, and Preston Savell will remain behind bars without bond.
All three face federal charges of attempted bank robbery.
According to federal documents, the three conspired to rob the truck on Thursday, June 4th.
Officials say the men approached the armored truck and shot 25-year-old Matthew Parker four times.
Parker's still recovering and is in stable condition at an Odessa hospital.
The three men then fled the scene, but were arrested later that evening.
